Prof. Dr. Muti-ur-Rehman Khan Niazi 

Prof. Dr. Muti-ur-Rehman Khan Niazi is a tenured professor currently serving in the Department of Pathology, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, Pakistan. Prof. Khan earned a DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) from the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Agriculture University, Faisalabad, Pakistan in 1996. He started his career as lecturer from College of Veterinary Sciences Lahore, at Department of Pathology. He obtained his M.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Pathology from the College of Veterinary Sciences, Lahore in 1998. Prof. Khan was awarded the Overseas Ph. D. Scholarship for Higher Studies by HEC, Pakistan in 2005. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Hematology (Hematopoietic Stem Cells) from the Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China in 2009 on his Ph. D.  Thesis titled, “Studies on the Effect of Kirre (Kiaa 1867) and Condition Medium (CM) on the Hematopoietic Progenitor Cells ex-Vivo Expansion and Mechanism of Self-renewal”.  As an avowed researcher, his work has been published in prestigious national and international journals.  Prof. Khan has 62 international and 37 national publications on his account. He has produced 74 M. Phils and 09 PhD scholars.  He is running two research projects, one internationally funded and one from a national funding agency.
